I know its probably not the best, but I used some generic pistons rings when rebuilding my engine (ITM is the brand). I only did this because I let the machine shop I used strong arm me in to buying them from their shop, etc. Another member has me really paranoid now, about these rings. Is there anything I should watch when installing these? They are aleady installed on the piston, and the pistons are already installed in the cylinders... I checked the part number on line and it does come back as the VG30DETT ring set for stock pistons. I know a lot of people here are purists but should I pull those rings off and go with OEM, or does anyone feel those should be sufficient? Brock
